Whiskey’s Redemption
The Crown and Anchor Series, Book Four
Whiskey
I’m the king of the powder. Snowboard companies vie for my Crown symbol on their wood. Women fall at my feet, ready for
the
taking at every turn, and there’s nothing hard about it. It all comes
easily to me. My world is cold, unforgiving and harsh, and I damn well
like it that way. I’m coldhearted because I was made this way by the
people that should have loved me most. Family.
Meeting
Carli Katana at my father’s funeral, she captivated me immediately. Not
because she was easy, but for the simple fact that she wasn’t. Her
sass, fire, sarcasm and wit keeps me guessing at every turn. She says
she doesn’t want me, but her body tells me otherwise.
Carli
Cold and calculating, unforgiving and unyielding, the broody Whiskey Crown is everything I look for in a man. But even
though he’s everything I’d ever thought the perfect man should be, I can’t have him. Why? My family. They’re the killers in
the
night that you’re warned about, and I may not have a choice but to
return to that life. Family isn’t all it’s cracked up to be
when you’re forced into it.

Interview With Kerri Ann:
Can
you tell us a little about your books?
Dirty. Damn dirty. I like a good
story, but sex is more than just two words (started and done). So mine
are storyline first and foremost, because I'm not a porn writer. There's
lives to these characters and they don't just screw, they have ups and
downs, they have heartache and it needs to be expressed.
High school was the first story I wrote that someone really liked. So when the itch hit, I had to put pen to paper. If I don't even now, it's like a movie on pause -- it has to be told or my mind would explode -- like literally!
Do you have a favorite character to write about?
Sassy women. Sarcastic men. Why? Because I am. And whether he likes it or not, my hubby is a muse for his off the wall straight faced sarcasm that makes you think he's serious. But he is ready to tickle you more than cause you grief. I love that. It makes the story seem tangible.
Do
you have a favorite spot to write?
Nope. To edit yes, Starbucks. We
have a great one by the lake that let's you just be a fly in the
building for hours. They're family to me.
Yes. And there's no one genre of tunes, it goes by characters and the flow of the music. I actually add a playlist in my website to go with the books.
If you ever experience a case of writer’s block, how do you cure it?
A drive. A walk. Listening to music alone and nothing else to do get's the ideas cranking.
If
you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
I'd be able to get
rid of smells. Trust me, required in this house with a 115lb dog that
can knock your socks off. Trust me, it's necessary!
A surprise M/M. Hit me square in the chest and had to be wrote. So far we're 22k in and it's been a week or so of just touching keys. Loving it as the sarcasm is strong in this one.
